Day 1: Arrival Day
On the day of your arrival we will be pleased to have one of our drivers meet you at the Kilimanjaro International Airport and escort you to the Paradise in Backpackers Guest Hostel where you will spend the night.
Day 2: Moshi – Tarangire National Park
We depart from Moshi at 8:00 a.m. and drive approximately 90 minutes to Tarangire National Park. Often referred to as the “home of elephants”, you have a great chance to spot elephants in large groups gathering around the Tarangire River. Other animals that might be spotted include leopards, lions, giraffes and even tree-climbing pythons!
Day 3: Tarangire - Serengeti National Park
After an early breakfast (7:00 a.m.), we do a game drive en route to Serengeti National Park. Serengeti is the largest and most famous park in Tanzania, known worldwide for its endless plains, wildebeest-migration, herds of lions and other predators like hyenas, cheetahs and leopards. Crocodiles can be found in the Grumeti River, as well as hippos, giraffes, antelopes, and gazelles. We will enjoy dinner and overnight in the heart of Serengeti.
Days 4, 5 & 6: Serengeti National Park
You will enjoy two full days of tracking the great migration. From December to March we take you to the southern Serengeti (Ndutu) while in April, May and June we tour Central Serengeti and Grumeti River, and from July-October we go to the Mara River where the annual great migration crossing takes place. On Day 6 we will enjoy another game drive in Serengeti and, in the afternoon, we head over to Central Serengeti for a “big cats” photographic safari.
Day 7: Serengeti - Ngorongoro Crater
Enjoy a full day in the Ngorongoro Crater. There is a very high possibility of spotting the ‘’Big 5” in one day (lion, rhino, elephant, buffalo and leopard). We will stop for lunch at a designated picnic site at the floor of the crater and, in the afternoon, enjoy a scenic drive to our accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 8: Ngorongoro - Lake Manyara National Park
After starting our day with an early sunrise game drive, we will spend a full day (including picnic lunch) at Lake Manyara National Park. The park is famous for its green scenery, varied bird life, tree-climbing lions, hippos and baboons. In the later afternoon we drive to drive to the lodge/camp for dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast you will be driven to the Kilimanjaro International Airport for your flight to other destinations or home.
